Our high school Re-Entry program serves students who require a temporary placement to make-up/complete credits for the current semester. Students are referred to Re-Entry for the following reasons:
- Withdrawal from Anacortes High School for attendance and/or behavioral concerns.
- Entry into the school district too late to start the current semester.
- Court ordered for attendance and not enrolled in another academic program.
- Extenuating circumstances that prevent them from being successful in a regular program.
Students work independenly on courses recommended by their high school counselor. Students may also be enrolled in one or more classes at Anacortes High School while attending Re-Entry. Students may also use Re-Entry as a way to prepare for the GED. In addition, students use this experience to determine if they are ready to re-enter Anacortes High School or if they prefer to apply to Cap Sante High School. Students provide their own transportation. See your counselor for additional information.
